I take your privacy seriously and I am committed to protecting your privacy.

 

Responsible Person

I am the personal responsible for ensuring that my website complies with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and all existing and subsequent, relevant legislation. Requesting Information, Amendment and Destruction of Data

You may request details of all the personal information that I hold about you under the Data Protection Legislation. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please write to me at the postal address given above.

You are also entitled to request that any Data I hold on you is destroyed or erased, and I shall comply with that request within 28 days of receipt of that request. In any event, if you have not been in contact with me for a consistent period of 3 years I will arrange to have all the information that you voluntarily provided to me together with your file confidentially destroyed. 

 

If you have formally instructed me with regards to your legal matter and your file has subsequently been closed, I will retain the file of papers for a period of 6 years in my closed storage system after which it will be destroyed.

If you have previously agreed to me using your personal information such as your contact email address, for updates, newsletters or direct marketing purposes, I will continue to keep this information but you may change your mind at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of every newsletter, writing to my postal address or by emailing me at jo@johodgson.co.uk

 

What Data Do We Hold and How We Use It?

I may gather and retain personal information about you when you voluntarily submit it to me. For example, if you choose to complete and submit a contact form via the Website’s “Contact us” page, I will use the data you submit to respond to your enquiry and consider your request. Your personal details held on the “Contact Us” page of our website will automatically be deleted after 90 days.

You may also have contacted me via email for more information and again I will use the data you submit to consider and respond to your enquiry. I will retain the information you submitted and may use or disclose your information as provided in this Privacy Policy.

 

Security

I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure I have put in place procedures to safeguard and secure the information I may collect from you. You can ask for details of this security at any time.

 

Third Parties

Please be rest assured that I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties and will not do so unless I have your permission or are required by law to do so.
